• Dan delivers over 10 years of international experience working both with local NZ businesses and successful web start-ups in the UK.
• He's designed and built websites of all sizes from small business sites to high-traffic web sites used by millions of people worldwide - he was a key part of Europe's most successful online public group communication system sold to UK ISP, Freeserve Plc. for £60m.
• Dan is active in educating and advancing the web design industry here in New Zealand, having recently helped establish a local developer-community group with an active network of over 200 developers.
  
• He has published technical articles and presentations on web applications and scalability; he lectures on these topics at a number of private tertiary institutes in Auckland, both for students, and in a workshop format for tutors from around the country;
  
• He is a member of the NatColl Curriculum Advisory Board assisting that institute in assembling courses relevant to industry.
  
• Dan has a multi-award-winning 1st Class Masters Degree in Software Engineering from The University of Sheffield in the UK.
